Aquisition of a sawmill in Tioga, Pennsylvania (USA).

Successful test run of RSL4000, Danzer's new generation of stay log machines.  

2002

Hans-Joachim Danzer Chief Executive Officer of Danzer Group .

Foundation of the company Danzer Specialty Veneers, Inc. in Edinburgh, Indiana (USA).

The most modern veneer mill in Europe, Danzer Bohemia-Dýhárna, starts production in the Czech Republic. The plant is equipped by Danzer's new generation of high-performance slicers, the VS4000.

Closing of veneer production facility in Kehl (Germany) and Aalst (Belgium).

Installation of seven new Danzer slicers in North America.

Acquisiton of 2,000 acres of timberland in New York (USA).

2003

Closing of veneer production in Princeton (USA) and consolidation into higher efficiency mills in North America.

2004

Acquisition of Sydfaner (Sweden).

Acquisition of a sawmill in Claremont, New Hampshire (USA).

2005

Consolidation of the Darlington production facility of Interforest into the three remaining plants in Durham, Williamsport and Edinburgh (USA). 

Acquisition of 29,000 acres of timberland in New York and Pennsylvania (USA).

Expansion of veneer factory Melnik by additional production line

Introduction of new wooden surface Vinterio
