Partnership with WWF

Danzer Group and the WWF (Word Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) have been teaming up to promote sustainable and socially acceptable forest management in Africa since the end of 2006. This cooperation includes memberships in WWF’s Global Forest and Trade Network (GFTN). It focuses on good forest management (combined with FSC certification) in two of Danzer Group’s African concessions in the Congo Basin. In addition, procurement from third-party suppliers and trade in African timber is also included.
