Being a family oriented company by tradition, we feel ourselves as committed both to our employees and to community. When we refer to society, we mean the people and the social structures of a region or a country, as well as the natural environment.

Commitment to sustainable forest management

The business activities of Danzer Group involve using the natural resource of wood sensibly. We respect the principle of sustainable forest management both in choosing our suppliers as well as in managing our own forests.
In our more than fifty years of doing business internationally, we have successively acquainted ourselves with the specific aspects that must be taken into account in other cultures and their consequences for our commercial commitments. Especially in less developed countries, circumstances are often so complex that there can be no simple answers, but only differentiated approaches for solutions.

Ongoing dialogue with all stakeholders

This also includes engaging in an ongoing dialogue with various international non-governmental organizations (NGO's) and local social project groups. In doing so, we always pursue the goal of keeping debate objective and finding steps toward constructive action. Danzer Group does not allow political, social or environmentalist initiatives to take advantage of it.

Every development implies changes in existing economic, social and ecological structures. In its dialogue with various interest groups, Danzer Group makes every effort to help underdeveloped regions, in particular, find sensible paths to the future.
