In the United States, Danzer Forestland (DFL) manages its own forests totalling 48,000 acres (20,000 hectares) in the states of New York, Pennsylvania and Indiana. DFL practices sustainable forest management with natural regeneration. The Best Management Practices (BMPs) of the respective state serve as management rules for DFL. Danzer Forestland is included in our Environmental & Safety Management System (ESMS) and certified to ISO 14001:2004. For more information, see the download in the column on the right.

In Argentina, Danzer Forestationes manages its own forests totaling 25,000 ha in the Posadas region. Danzer Forestationes practices reforestation by turning grassland that had been used for cattle ranching back into a plantation forest.
