Further expansions in North America

1991

David R. Webb Company moved out of the existing sample room into a new warehouse in High Point, North Carolina (USA).

1992

Participation in Penn-Beaver Veneer Company, Darlington, Pennsylvania (USA), a custom cutting veneer plant.

Foundation of Danzer Forestacion in Posadas (Argentina), a major reforestation project.

1993

Start-up of veneer plant in Riga (Latvia).

Participation in Keystone Veneers in Williamsport, Pennsylvania (USA), which is taken over later and mergered with David R. Webb.

1994

Complete takeover of Penn-Beaver, which later is integrated into the Interforest veneer organization.

1997

Acquisition of Jura Placages, a veneermill in Souvans (France).

Start of the development efforts to design a new high-performance slicer.

1998

Opening of a warehouse in Neratovice (Czech Republic).

1999

Acquisition of The Dean Company in Princeton, West Virginia (USA), a very respected veneer manufacturer for the production of Black Cherry.

First Danzer slicer VS4000 starts prototype operation at Coplac (Belgium).

2000

Start of construction of a new veneer production plant at Melnik, near Prague (Czech Republic).
