Participation in Interforest (ex Maple Leaf) with plant in Durham (Canada) specializing in Grey Elm veneer. 1974Complete acquisition of Interforest. Start of a veneer plant at Coplac, transforming the trading company into a state-of-the-art production facility. 1976Start of a sawing, slicing and planing operation, today's SIFORCO, in Maluku (former Zaire); this becomes the largest timber processing plant on the continent of Africa. 1977Interforest establishes a veneer sales warehouse in Boucherville (Canada), near Montreal.
